Hey Claudia – I’m working my way through “Alien vs. Predator” a new book of poetry by Michael Robbins, which Christian Bok recommended to us this summer. I’m loving it – seriously profane and laugh out loud. And its title poem might just start with my new favorite line:
“Praise this world, Rilke says, the jerk.”

It’s never a bad idea to call someone a jerk. Especially a famous poet.
